Welcome to DownlightsLED.co.uk. Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing our site or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

• “You/Your” refers to the individual or business purchasing from or using our site.

• “Products” means the lighting fixtures and related accessories sold via our website.

2. Use of Website

• Access is free and provided “as is.” We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the site or any part of it without notice.

• Some features, like order history, may require an account. You must be at least 16 years old to register. Keep your password safe.

3. Order & Pricing

• All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT (unless stated otherwise).

• We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, even post-order.

• Orders are accepted only once payment is cleared and confirmed. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

4. Delivery & Shipping

• Free delivery on all UK mainland orders over £40.

• Standard delivery: 2–4 working days.

• Express/Next-day: available for orders placed before 3 pm (Mon–Fri).

• Orders received after cut-off, weekends, or holidays will be processed the next working day.

• Some items may require pallet or specialist courier delivery—this will be notified prior to dispatch.

5. Returns & Cancellations

• You have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery. Products must be returned in original, resalable condition.

• Custom or cut-to-size items may be non-returnable—if so, this will be clearly indicated.

• Return shipping is typically at your own cost unless items are faulty.

• Refunds (excluding return postage) will be processed within 5-7 days of receiving the goods.

6. Faulty or Damaged Goods

• Report damages or shortages within 48 hours of delivery with photos.

• Faulty items will be replaced or refunded at our discretion. Proof of purchase may be required.

7. Warranty

• Standard warranty period is 12 months. Some products may carry extended warranties—check individual product listings.

• Warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, or wear beyond normal usage.

8. Title & Risk

• Ownership of goods remains with us until full payment is made.

• Risk transfers to you upon delivery.

9. Liability Limitations

• Our liability for losses caused by defects is limited to the purchase price.

• We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g. loss of profits, business interruption).

10. Privacy & Data Protection

• We process your personal data in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

• By using our site, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described.
